Mobile degassing
ETS Degassing is Europe’s leading expert for mobile, environmentally-friendly and safe exhaust gas treatment from tanks, containers, rail cars, pipelines, ships, vessels, barges, suction trucks and other components. We can also carry out the temporary replacement of Vapor Recovery Units (VRU) to guarantee operations can continue without downtimes during maintenance or repair of stationary systems.

For more than 17 years, ETS Degassing is offering technologically unique solutions for the time- and cost-efficient combustion of gases, gas mixtures and vapors in the explosion groups IIA, IIB and IIC.
Our systems burn hydrocarbons, VOC (volatile organic compounds) and HAP (hazardous air pollutants) emissions with a combustion rate of over 99.99 %. There develop neither open flame nor odor. At the same time, unlike other technologies, our compact systems and processes enable us to determine the CO2 impact on site. All of this makes us unique in Europe.
In 2008, our first mobile vapor combustion unit was developed and made mobile degassing possible for the very first time world-wide. Innovation is an important topic for us – that’s why we are still regularly developing our technologies to offer our customers the best portfolio for mobile emission reduction and degassing.
Technologically unique solutions for mobile exhaust gas treatment and degassing
We develop, produce and operate our own mobile vapor combustion units for industrial degassing. Our mobile incinerators can be used for individual applications or as a temporary solution and replacement for VRUs, flares and gas pendulum systems. Our units can also be used as part of turnarounds of process plants and in short-term emergency situations.
Our mobile units offer further advantages: while a CO2 impact cannot be directly recorded and determined in adsorption and absorption systems for treating exhaust gases, this is possible with the ETS Degassing technologies.
The technical operation of the system is carried out by our qualified operators, so that the customers are relieved as much as possible. No liquid or solid waste is generated during degassing. We offer trained personnel, a transparent process and the best quality standard on the market. This saves our customers time and money. For short and long term applications, we also offer our mobile degassing systems for rent – if required all-in-one, for example including additional materials such as power generators, support gas supply, connecting pipes, etc.
Our combustion units
Our mobile vapor combustion units are available in different combustion capacities: 3, 4, 5, 10 and 20 MW. This makes our systems suitable for different applications. The lower combustion capacity units are perfectly suited for short-term applications and emergencies and for complex products. Additionally, the systems can also be combined so that our mobile vapor combustion units have a scalable total capacity of up to 50 MW. Initially, our portfolio consisted of the 5 MW unit – in order to expand the application areas of the combustion units, we also developed the 20 MW system and gradually our 10 MW and 3 MW units. With regular innovations, we can now offer our customers a comprehensive portfolio of mobile vapor combustion units that can be tailored precisely to their individual requirements and needs. This makes us the market leader.

Mobile vapor combustion unit with a 3 MW combustion capacity
Our 3 MW unit is particularly suitable for short deployments and emergency services. Emissions can be treated in an environmentally-friendly manner immediately after arrival and approval.

Mobile vapor combustion unit with a 4 MW combustion capacity
Our 4 MW unit is also suitable for short applications, especially for the degassing of individual tanks and for the short-term replacement of stationary emission reduction systems.

Mobile vapor combustion unit with a 5 MW combustion capacity
Our 5 MW unit is also an ideal solution for short-term deployments. This unit is applied primarily for smaller degassings (for example of individual tanks) and temporary replacements of stationary emission reduction systems.

Mobile vapor combustion unit with a 10 MW combustion capacity
Our 10 MW unit is suitable for degassing applications that last several weeks or that require the treatment of products with higher combustion capacities.

Mobile vapor combustion unit with a 20 MW combustion capacity
Our 20 MW unit is the incinerator with the highest combustion capacity and is ideal for long-term applications lasting several months as well as for working with more complex products that require higher combustion capacities.

Mobile vapor combustion unit for long-term deployments
Our mobile vapor combustion unit Eco-Combustor is an excellent solution for applications that require long-term or even permanent deployment. Our long-term and permanent stationary combustion chambers have a combustion capacity of 1 to 30 MW.

Our mobile vapor combustion chambers are equipped with everything that is needed to carry out degassing and venting: connecting pipes, connections, fans, special combustion nozzles, spare parts, power generators with diesel tanks, etc. The technical operation of the units is carried out by us. You as the customer only have to support us in the preparation.

It is the goal to reach net zero emissions and climate-neutrality by 2050 – this means that no emissions are to be relased that are not otherwise compensated.
