Three awards for ETS Degassing
Our company was honored with three awards in March 2025. We are proud to be among the winners at the Global Tank Storage Awards 2025 in the categories Environmental Performance (Gold) and Emerging Technology (Bronze). In addition, our Managing Director David Wendel was honored with the Tank Storage Forty Under Forty Award at StocExpo 2025. The awards recognize our technologies and services as well as our achievements in the areas of environmental protection, innovation and expertise in the tank storage industry.

Global Tank Storage Awards 2025: Gold in the “Environmental Performance” category for ETS Degassing
In the annual Global Tank Storage Awards, we won one of the most prestigious categories – we were honored with the Gold Award for “Environmental Performance”. The award recognizes our technologies and services that contribute significantly to reducing industrial emissions and improving the environmental footprint.
Our mobile vapor combustion units significantly reduce harmful industrial emissions by burning gases and vapors in a controlled, environmentally-friendly manner with an efficiency of 99.99% – without open flame or residue. This improves air quality, protects the environment and occupational safety and fulfils legal requirements such as pollutant limits in accordance with TA-Luft.
Thanks to the high efficiency and environmental compatibility of this technology, ETS Degassing has set new standards for sustainable solutions for industrial emission reduction. The Global Tank Storage Award 2025 in Gold confirms our company’s contribution to safe and environmentally-friendly operating processes.
Bronze in the “Emerging Technology” category for ETS Degassing at the Global Tank Storage Awards 2025
At the awards ceremony in Rotterdam, we were also honored in the “Emerging Technology” category. In addition to the mobile vapor combustion units from ETS Degassing, this award also recognizes the air purification systems for industrial exhaust air from our sister company ETS Air Systems. Under the umbrella of the ETS Group, our companies enable both the efficient treatment and reduction of industrial emissions as well as the purification of polluted industrial exhaust air, through which air pollutants can be efficiently eliminated from industrial exhaust air streams.
By applying these technologies, companies in industries such as the tank storage and chemical sectors can reduce their emissions while complying with strict legal requirements for environmental protection and occupational safety. The Global Tank Storage Award in the “Emerging Technology” category is given to ground-breaking technological developments that have the potential to change the industry for good. The award in this category emphasizes the innovative strength of ETS Group companies and their role as drivers of new, environmentally-friendly technologies for the industry.
Forty Under Forty Award for ETS Degassing Managing Director David Wendel
Our Managing Director also received a special personal honor: at this year’s StocExpo, David Wendel was recognized with the prestigious Tank Storage Forty Under Forty Award. The award honors young leaders who contribute significantly to the further development of the industry with their innovative spirit, expertise and strategic vision. The award recognizes his commitment to sustainable solutions for the treatment and reduction of harmful gases and emphasizes his significant contribution to the transformation towards greater environmental and climate protection.
Awards for ETS Degassing: a strong signal for the future
The entire ETS Degassing team is proud of the latest awards. The three awards further emphasize our position as a leading provider of innovative and sustainable solutions for mobile degassing and emission reduction in the industry. The triple success underlines both the performance of our technologies and our ongoing commitment to an environmentally-friendly and safe industry. We will continue on this path in the future to support industrial customers in reducing their carbon footprint and emissions of gases with a high global warming potential (GWP) factor.
